CREATING FIRST CLASS BRANDS

In 2005, after working for restaurant groups in Boston and Chicago, founders Joe and John Lanni, set out on their own. Currito was born and quickly began to grow to 12 locations by 2011. Now with more than double that number and locations in 6 different states, Currito is the most far-reaching of the Lanni brothers’ concepts. They currently operate Thunderdome Restaurant Group, which includes Currito, CityBird, Bakersfield, The Eagle, Krueger’s Tavern, SoHi, Maplewood, Pepp & Delores, and The Davidson.

A STRONG FAST CASUAL MARKET OUTLOOK

The global fast casual restaurant market was valued at $124.5 billion in 2022, and is projected to reach $337.8 billion by 2032, growing at an annual rate of 10.4% from 2023 to 2032.

Greater consumer emphasis on quality and technology remain key success factors as tight-squeezed consumers are trading down from higher-end casual restaurants, and want the same quality of food. Currito is well positioned to give customers a quality meal and great value.

HOW CAN IT WORK FOR YOU?

BUILDING YOUR CURRITO

a typical currito floor plan is 1800–2500 square feet for an in-line location and 600–800 square feet for a food court location. end cap locations with potential for patio seating and ample parking are preferred.

POTENTIAL SITES

  • high traffic strip centers
  • central business districts
  • regional shopping centers
  • college campuses
  • airports and hospitals

The average build-out cost ranges from $338,500 - $954,000, with a one-time franchise fee of $30,000. Royalties are 6% of sales.
